Interesting article. There have always been people who disguise their affiliations or conflicts of interest. I think the interesting and novel thing here (for us) is that this conflict of interest is not only declared, but considered an asset (in the commercialization sector). As others have noted, Lewis has been pretty bang on in his predictions of how this would go.
