Are there all that many future drugs that fit your definition of innovative ?

Very interesting article. The first thing I thought of while reading your article was that Richard Horton(editor, Lancet) feels that "all the good drugs have been discovered" and that is the biggest problem in the pharmaceutical industry.
Is there any evidence that there are all that many future drugs that would fit your definition of innovative ? I say No !
